Dom Pérignon P3 1982 is a third-Plénitude (P3) release of the 1982 vintage, kept on lees for around thirty years before disgorgement — the most extended Plénitude stage of the Dom Pérignon programme.

P3 (Plénitude Troisième) is the rare third stage of Dom Pérignon’s late-release Plénitude programme. After the standard vintage release (P1) and a second-Plénitude re-release (P2, around fifteen years on lees), a small number of vintages are held on lees for roughly thirty years before being disgorged and released as P3. The 1982 vintage was a warm, ripe year, and the P3 1982 represents the same base wine in its most extended, most tertiary register, sold in limited quantities with the P3 stage marked on the back label.
