Dom Pérignon Luminous 2008 is the illuminated-bottle presentation of Dom Pérignon’s 2008 vintage, pairing the same prestige-Cuvée wine inside with a light-up label and gift-led display format.
From the Producer
Dom Pérignon is the prestige vintage Cuvée of the Moët & Chandon house in Champagne, created in 1921 by Eugène Mercier and shaped into a vintage-only prestige wine under Robert-Jean de Vogüé. The house declares a vintage only in years the harvest justifies it, so vintages are never released two years in a row. Every Dom Pérignon is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and the 2008 vintage — a cool, late-ripening year — was declared after extended lees ageing for its balance and structure. Luminous is a presentation expression of an existing vintage, with the same wine re-presented in a light-up label format for nightlife and hospitality service.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Citrus, white flowers, toast, chalk and subtle smoke.
- Palate: Bright acidity, orchard fruit and creamy lees complexity with a precise, mineral core.
