Cristal 2012 750mL

Louis Roederer Cristal 2012 is the 2012 vintage of the prestige cuvée Louis Roederer first created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, the only Cristal from a single vintage, sourced from the house’s chalky mid-slope parcels on the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.

From the Producer

Cristal is biodynamically farmed from roughly 37 “Cœur de Terroir” parcels on Roederer’s own 240 hectares in Cumières, with Pinot Noir dominant in the blend. The 2012 vintage, from a cool, late-ripening year, was aged on its lees for a minimum of seven years before disgorgement and rested a further eight months after disgorgement, longer than the Cristal norm (roederer.com).
