Clos de L'Oratoire is a Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate producing red wine from the appellation's traditional Grenache-led blends, sourced from old vines on the galets roulés and sandy soils of the southern Rhône. The original wooden case (OWC) is the case in which the producer shipped the bottled 2007 Les Choregies cuvée — it carries the estate's case markings and is sold by collectors and merchants as an accessory once the bottles have been removed or separated, useful for keeping an OWC-set collection intact or for storage.
