From the Producer
Chichibu distillery sits in the mountain town of Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, and was founded by Ichiro Akuto, the grandson of the master distiller of the now-closed Hanyu distillery. Distilling began in 2008 on a small scale with on-site floor maltings and a wide variety of cask types. The distillery runs an annual city-edition series, with one city release per year. The Paris Edition is the allocation for France and is normally released through specialist French whisky importers.

- Nose: Banana, yellow orchard fruit, honey, vanilla, nutty malt and fragrant oak.
- Palate: Energetic and layered, with sweet malt, spice, citrus brightness and polished cask influence.
- Finish: Long and lively, with pepper, fruit and clean oak dryness.
