Château Belle-Vue, located in the Macau commune of the southern Médoc, sits between Margaux and the Gironde estuary and was classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel at the 2003 review, then promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in the 2020 classification. The estate is run by the Vincent family and produces a Cabernet Sauvignon-led Haut-Médoc wine aged in French oak. Belle-Vue's grand vin has been bottled at the estate for decades and shipped in its original wooden case for each vintage release. The 2010 vintage on the Left Bank is widely regarded as a modern classic, producing structured, ageworthy Cabernet-led wines across the Médoc.
