Domaine Bonneau du Martray, based in Pernand-Vergelesses, is the single largest owner of the Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru hill and has farmed biodynamically since 1997. Original wooden cases from the domaine are stencilled with the vintage, appellation and bottling format, and are matched to the specific release. The 2005 vintage is widely cited as one of the classic white-Burgundy vintages of the early 2000s, and producer OWCs from this vintage are part of how the release is documented and cellared.
