Bonneau du Martray Corton 2019 is a red Grand Cru Burgundy from Domaine Bonneau du Martray in Aloxe-Corton — one of the very few Pinot Noir bottlings from a producer more famous for its white Corton-Charlemagne, and a long-aged expression from old-vine Pinot Noir on the Corton hillside.

Domaine Bonneau du Martray is a historic Burgundy estate based in Aloxe-Corton and is the sole owner of a significant share of the Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru vineyard, making it one of the most important white-Burgundy producers in the world. The domaine has been biodynamically farmed since the 1990s and is today run by Stéphane Follin Arbelet alongside the de Montille family. The Corton red bottling comes from old Pinot Noir vines on the upper slopes of the Corton hill, where chalky, marly soils give a wine of finesse and structure distinct from the more powerful white Corton-Charlemagne for which the domaine is best known. The 2019 Burgundy vintage was widely praised as a classical, ageworthy year with bright acidity.
