About This Wine
Melbury is a hillside Cabernet Sauvignon parcel east of Rutherford looking across Lake Hennessey, on sedimentary clay and rock with eastern and southeastern aspects. BOND bottles the Melbury fruit separately under its own label rather than blending it across the programme. The 2012 sits within the modern small-lot run that followed the founding Vecina and Melbury releases.
