The DCS Compendium is a five-chapter, twenty-five-cask series curated by David C. Stewart, who joined The Balvenie in 1962 and became the longest-serving malt master in Scotch whisky. Chapter Four is built around cask selection and stock management - casks chosen to demonstrate what maturation actually does, which is why an eight-year-old sits alongside bottles four times its age.
