Aubert Wines is a Sonoma Coast producer founded by Mark Aubert, who trained under Helen Turley and built the project around vineyard-designate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from cool, coastal sites. Ritchie Vineyard is a historic old-vine Chardonnay site on the Sonoma Coast owned by the Ritchie family, planted on Goldridge fine sandy loam and known for low yields and intensely concentrated fruit. Aubert’s Ritchie bottling typically combines whole-cluster pressing, native-yeast fermentation and new French oak, producing a richly textured, mineral Chardonnay that drinks like a white Burgundy in style.
