Domaine Armand Rousseau is one of the most historic family-run estates in Gevrey-Chambertin, founded in the early 20th century by Armand Rousseau himself and now continued by his descendants, including Eric Rousseau, who has run the domaine since the 1980s. The domaine farms parcels across several of the Côte de Nuits' most celebrated Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites, including Chambertin, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Saint-Jacques and the monopole Clos de la Roche.

Rousseau's house style in red Burgundy emphasises whole-cluster fermentation, restrained new oak and long élevage, producing Pinot Noir bottlings known for their perfume, structure and ageworthiness.
