Coup de Foudre is Laurent Gruel's Napa Valley project, built on long-standing relationships with growers across the valley and a focus on barrel-select Cabernet. The Lightning Bolt bottling is sourced from the producer's four top barrels of the vintage and aged in French oak, designed to deliver a deeper, more concentrated profile than the entry-level cuvées. Production is deliberately small and the wine is offered primarily through specialist merchants.
