About the Distillery
The company behind the label is InterBev, a subsidiary of the Californian firm Allied Lomar, which is led by Very Olde St. Nick founder Marci Palatella. She has sourced, bought and bottled whiskey barrels for decades. The group's other labels include Rare Perfection and Wattie Boone, the second named after an early bourbon maker from the Bardstown area.
Palatella went on to build Preservation Distillery in Bardstown, and the brand now works from there. Having a distillery of its own gives Very Olde St. Nick a permanent base after years of being bottled at other companies' plants.
