Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition
A Symphony Beyond Vintages
Every year, the House of Krug crafts a new edition of Grande Cuvée, a champagne that transcends the concept of vintage. The 173ème Édition is composed around the harvest of 2017, uniting 150 wines from 13 different years, the oldest dating back to 2001. This meticulous assemblage is a testament to Krug’s vision of offering the most generous expression of champagne, regardless of climate variations.
Composition & Craft
This edition brings together:
- 44% Pinot Noir
- 34% Chardonnay
- 22% Meunier
With 31% reserve wines from Krug’s extensive library, the 173ème Édition gains the depth, roundness, and elegance that define every release. Over 20 years of careful craftsmanship culminate in this expression.

A Tribute to Time
The 173ème Édition continues Krug’s homage to patience and legacy. Just as the 163ème Édition (based on the 2007 harvest) now tells its story with a decade of aging, the 173ème promises its own journey through time.
